Mysore/Mysuru: As part of the Fit India Movement launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a quiz contest has been sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS). The preliminary round of Fit India Quiz had participants from 13,502 schools from over 659 districts across the country, out of which students of 361 schools qualified.
Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) BRBNMPL, Mysuru, students, Namrata Sanjiv Gunjikar and Y. Indu Hasini of class 8 were selected for the Fit India Quiz State finals conducted on Mar. 16 and were declared as the Karnataka State Champions. They have won a cash award of Rs. 25,000 and the School will receive a cash amount of Rs. 2,50,000.
Now they will represent Karnataka State in National-level.
Managing Director of BRBNMPL Manas Ranjan Mohanty feted the winners in the presence of Ramesh Kumar Labh, GM and Chairman VMC, other dignitaries of BRBNMPL and staff of KV BRBNMPL, Mysuru.
Principal M. Bhagyalakshmi, staff and students of KV BRBNMPL, have lauded the winners.
