Flesh trade in spa

  • Two women among five held
  • Rs. 10,200 cash, seven mobile phones and two bikes seized

Acting on a tip off that prostitution was taking place at a spa in a hotel coming under Devaraja Police limits, the City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, raided the hotel and arrested five persons including two women on Friday afternoon.

Those arrested have been identified as Madhu of Yelemuddanahalli, Sunil of Siddharamanahundi, Deepak Kumar of Siddarthanagar and two women.

During the raid, the cops have seized Rs. 10,200 cash, seven mobile phones and two bikes from them.

The Police who have registered cases under Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and IPC Section 370 (3), produced those arrested before a magistrate, who has remanded them to judicial custody. The two women has been let off on bail.

The case has been transferred to Devaraja Police Station.
