Floral tributes offered to B.V. Karanth

Marking the birth anniversary of theatre icon B.V. Karanth, floral tributes were offered to the bust of Karanth in Rangayana premises, at a programme organised under the aegis of Rangayana and Kannada and Culture Department this morning. The programme also featured ‘B.V. Karanth  Geetha Gayana’ by Rangayana artistes and theatre personalities. Kannada and Culture Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Rangayana Deputy Director Nirmala Mathapathi, senior theatre personalities Rajashekar Kadamba and Venkataramana Aithal, Rangayana artistes Geetha Montadka, Shashikala, Nandini, Krishnakumar and Mahadeva and others were present.
