Madikeri: Brisk preparations are on for the three-day flower show at Raja Seat here which commences from Mar.9. A new coat of paint has come on the interiors of Raja Seat and the Park is getting spruced up. The musical fountain and artificial water falls have been repaired to add further grandeur.

Focus lights and CCTV cameras have been fitted for illumination and good surveillance. Attractive flowers have blossomed in the garden and more flowering plants were being planted in the pots.

To woo the tourists, Horticulture Department and Tourism Department have come out with good ideas.

Hedges and bushes have been attractively shaped through topiary to resemble elephant, rabbit, deer and wild animals not excluding vegetables. A flower mantap is also being readied.

A lot of tourists are expected from Mar.9 to 11 being a week-end. An information kiosk is also being planned by the Tourism Department at Raja Seat.
