Mysore/Mysuru: Swarasankula Sangeetha Sabha, Mysuru, has organised Hindustani classical music concerts tomorrow at 5.30 pm at Ganabharathi’s Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Adichunchanagiri road in city.

The evening starts with a flute recital by Vidu. Sameeksha H. Vivek. She will be accompanied by Kedar Joshi on tabla.

This will be followed by a vocal recital by Vidu. Priya Purushothaman. She will be accompanied by Pt. Sagar Bharathraj on tabla and Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath on harmonium.

Profile: Vidu. Sameeksha H. Vivek is learning Bansuri for the past 10 years under the tutelage Giridhar Dodderi, a disciple of Pt. Venkatesh Godkindi. She has performed at several  prestigious platforms.

Vidushi Priya Purushothaman  is a Hindustani vocalist trained in the style of Agra gharana by Vidushi Aditi Upadhya, Pt. Sudhindra  Bhaumik and Agra gharana stalwart Pt.Dinkar Kaikini.
