Flute Jugalbandi and Bharatanatyam recital

Gayana Sabha, Mysuru and Naatya Sabha, Mysuru, have organised a music and dance programme on the occasion of inauguration of respective institutes, with the purpose of training youngsters in Indian Classical Music and Dance. The event will be held at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar here on Nov. 13 at 5.30 pm. One of the recitals of the evening is Flute Jugalbandi by internationally renowned flautists Pt. Sameer Rao and Vid. Mysore Chandan Kumar. They will be accompanied by Adarsh Shenoy on tabla and Aniruddha Bhat on mridanga.

Another programme is Bharatanatyam recital by Vidu. Kathyayini Shringari from Mysuru. The music ensemble includes natuvanga by Vidu. Pooja Sugam, vocal by Vidu. Deepti Shrinath, mridanga by Vid. Dr. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy and flute by Vid. Rakesh Sudhir.
