Flying snake rescued in H.D. Kote

January 10, 2021

H.D. Kote: A flying snake has been rescued by herpetologist Hanumesh from a house in H.D. Kote town on Friday.

Shock was in store for Paramesh, a librarian, when he saw a big snake at his house in the agriculture field near Stadium in the town.

Seeing the serpent in the standing posture, he shut the door and called snake rescuer Hanumesh. When the expert arrived at the scene, he saw the four feet snake jumping from one place to another out of fear. It took nearly two hours for the expert to catch it. Later, it was left into the wild.

These snakes jump from one tree to another with ease and feed on small birds, frogs and others. They are mildly venomous and called as gliding snakes.
