FMKMC College wins MI7s Football Tournament

As a prelude to the Annual State Level Academic and Cultural Fest MICAnvas ’18, Mysore Institute of Commerce and Arts (MICA) hosted the 4th edition of MI7s floodlight football tournament on Dec. 29 at its premises recently.

More than 20 teams from Mysuru and Kodagu took part in the tournament which witnessed some fierce and closely fought matches.  Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa (FMKMC) College of Madikeri and SBRR Mahajana FGC made it to the finals in which FMKMC reigned supreme defeating Mahajana FGC 2 – 0.

The winners will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 8,000 along with a trophy and certificates. While the runner-up team will be awarded Rs. 6000 along with a trophy and certificates on the MICAnvas ’18 Cultural Fest to be held on Jan. 5 at the college.
