Folk scholar and theatre artiste U.S. Ramanna, who turned 75 recently, and his wife Dr. Y.C. Bhanumati, were felicitated at a programme organised by Kadamba Rangavedike, Mysuru, at Sri Kalanikethana School of Art in Vijayanagar, Mysuru. They are seen with folk scholar Dr. D.K. Rajendra, senior theatre person Prof. H.S. Umesh, senior journalist Amshi Prasannakumar, Rajashekar Kadamba of Kadamba Rangavedike, Sri Kalanikethana School of Art Principal K.C. Mahadevashetty, Nagendra Kumar and Ashwath Kadamba. On the occasion, a photo exhibition of the roles essayed by actor Ramanna in theatre was organised and Ramanna’s disciples Kartik Upamanyu and Vishal presented Kamsale.
