Football: Narrow win for Lucky Star FC

A goal each by left-out Syed Shoeb (20th), centre-half Md. Omair (29th) and right-out Md. Umer (57th) helped Lucky Star FC to register a 3-2 win over Friends Union FC in the MDFA ‘C’ Division Football League 2019-20 for the Chirag Trophy played at the University Grounds here yesterday.

RESULT — Lucky Star FC: 3 (Syed Shoeb 20, Md. Omair 29, Md. Umer 57) bt Friends Union FC: 2 (Umesh 35, Lal Krishna 59).
