Football: Vipin shines in KSRTC FC’s big win

A hat-trick by left-out Vipin (10,13,48th) was the highlight of KSRTC FC’s 8-1 win over Soniya FC, in the MDFA ‘B’ Division Football League 2018-19 for the Govindaraju Memorial Trophy (2018-19) at the University Grounds here yesterday.

Dhruchik slammed two goals (11th & 49th), while Preetham 99th), Riocalvin (12) and Nagendra (22nd) scored a goal each. Raiyeez reduced the margin for the losers Soniya FC in the 46th minute.

KSRTC FC: 8 (Preetham 9, Vipin 10, 13, 48, Dhruchik 11, 49, Riocalvin 12, Nagendra 22) bt Soniya FC: 1 (Raiyeez 46).

Monday’s Match — Ganesha FC: 4 (Dorjey Dhano 22, Dhamma Chando 27, 30, Deewan 68) bt Lion FC: 0.

Sunday’s Match — Royal FC: 4 (Abhilash 9, Sharan 17, Suraj 54, Harish 61) bt KSRTC FC: 1 (Romanas 57).

Satruday’s Match — Mysore Muslims FC: 1 (Umar 15) bt Govt. Text Book Press FC 0.
