Foreign tourist’s bag containing documents, cash, valuables stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen a bag containing important documents, cash and valuables belonging to a foreign tourist which was kept inside a car. The incident took place on Sayyaji Rao Road in city on Oct. 8.

The foreign tourist, who lost her bag is 53-year-old Evabeta Kondra. Evabeta, who had come to Bengaluru, had hired a car there and had arrived in Mysuru along with her friends Boni Sait from India and Gregeorge Pabin of Poland.

At about 5.30 pm, they visited Cauvery Emporium on Sayyaji Rao Road and when they returned back to the car, they found the bag containing Passport, American Express credit card, Polish ID Card, Dutch ID Card, 300 Euros (worth Rs. 24,216), 1,000 PLN (worth Rs. 36,708), 250 US Dollars, sunglasses worth Rs. 16,000, JBL airpods worth Rs. 8,000, Loyalty Card, cosmetics, Bengaluru hotel room key and BMW car key stolen.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Police Station.
