Forest Department employee injured in accident, dies

Mysuru: A Forest Department employee who was undergoing treatment at a city hospital after sustaining injuries in a road mishap a few days ago, succumbed to injuries on Monday (Jan.13).

Amrutheshwara Swamy (56), who was serving at Metikuppe Forest Range in H.D. Kote taluk is the deceased.

Amrutheshwara Swamy was returning to Saragur after finishing his work when he reportedly met with a road mishap. A seriously injured Swamy was rushed to a private hospital in the city, where he breathed his last on Monday morning. 

Last rites were performed at Saragur on Tuesday. He leaves behind  two sons, brother Nagesh, a Journalist and a host of relatives and friends.
