A probe team led by Forest Department Under-Secretary Ravikumar, visited Bandipur Tiger Reserve where thousands of acres of forest was destroyed by fire which is said to be man-made.
The probe team visited Kalkere, Gundre, Moleyuru, N. Begur and Moolehole ranges and inspected the places.
The team was accompanied by Bandipur Project Tiger Director T. Hiralal, ACFs K. Paramesh and Maradimuni and Range Forest Officers.
