Formation of wards in District local bodies: Objections invited

Mysuru: As per Karnataka Municipal Act, Hunsur and Nanjangud City Municipalities and Municipal Corporations in Bannur, T. Narasipur and H.D. Kote have been distributed into wards and a draft notification has been released by Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep which is put up at the DC’s office, Assistant Commissioner’s office in Hunsur and Mysuru, Tahsildar’s office in every taluk, Nanjangud and Hunsur City Municipal Council and Municipal Corporations in Bannur, T. Narasipur and H.D. Kote.

The ward formation is as follows: Nanjangud – 31, Hunsur – 31, Bannur – 23, T. Narasipur – 23 and H.D. Kote – 31.

Objections, if any, with supporting documents should be submitted in writing to the DC before May 19.
