Former General Manager of Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel Anil Malik passes away

Mysuru: Anil Malik (68), former General Manager of Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel in city and presently a resident of New Delhi, passed away last night at his daughter’s residence in Bengaluru following a heart attack, according to sources.

Anil Malik served as the GM of Lalitha Mahal Hotel between 1991 and 1994 when he literally revived the loss-making hotel turning it into a profit-making one.

He leaves behind his wife Indu Malik, son Anshu Malik, daughter Sheetal and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers.

Last rites were performed at Peenya crematorium in Bengaluru today.
