Mysuru:  K.K. Shailaja Teacher, former Health Minister of Kerala and current MLA from Mattanur Constituency, visited Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) and Southern Regional Language Centre (SRLC) recently along with 8 education experts to know about the functions and facilities of SRLC and CIIL.

Shailaja had a discussion with language faculties and observed the Teaching Learning Process and Research Works of SRLC.

After M. Venkatesan, LLT, explained about the SRLC Language Lab, Shailaja expressed her interest of collaboration with SRLC academically in future for the implementation of Comprehensive Educational Programme which includes Educational Development, Establishment of Language Laboratory, Career Guidance, Counselling Cell and structure of New School System.

Dr. Narayan Kumar Choudhary, Assistant Director of CIIL and Dr. Rakesh Cherucodu, Principal of the SRLC, were present during her visit.
