Mysuru:  J.C. Chandrashekar (84), father of former international cricketer Javagal Srinath, passed away yesterday midnight at his residence in Kuvempunagar.

He leaves behind his wife Bhagyalakshmi, sons J.C. Srinivas and Javagal Srinath, daughters J.C. Srilakshmi and J.C. Srilatha and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this afternoon, according to sources.
