Former Minister of undivided AP M. Satyanarayana Rao no more

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh M. Satyanarayana Rao (88) passed away at a hospital here yesterday. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.

Meneni Satyanarayana Rao, popularly known as MSR, was born in Vedhira village of Karimnagar district. He took part in the Telangana movement from 1969 to 1971. He served thrice as an MP, President of Pradesh Congress Committee in united AP, General Secretary of AICC and was also a Minister in Y.S. Rajashekhar Reddy Cabinet. 

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to make arrangements for MSR’s cremation with official honours this afternoon.
