Mysuru: Former MLA Vasu hosted an Iftar party on  Saturday at Royal Function Hall. More than 2,000 Muslim brethern attended the  get-together. Dr. Syed Akheel Ahmed, former Vice-Chancellor, Yenopaya University, led the prayer at the venue. Dr. B.Sheik Ali, former Vice-Chancellor, Mangalore and Goa Universities, Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman, retired Principal of SJCE, Corporators Suhail Baig and  K.C Shoukath Pasha, former Mayor Ayub Khan, Iqbal Ahmed, President, Bi Bi Ayeesha Milli Hospital, Hazrath Moulana Mohamed Zaka Ulla Saheb, President, All India Milli Council, Mysore District Unit, Jameel Ahmed Ashrafi, Mysore City Congress President R.Murthy and others attended.
