Former MRC Chairman Dr. Rajendra Prasad passes away

Mysuru: Dr. R. Rajendra Prasad (70), former Chairman of Mysore Race Club (MRC) and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away in Bengaluru early this morning following a brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Profile: Born in Bengaluru, Dr. Rajendra Prasad did his MD at Mysore Medical College and served the Institution for 37 long years before retiring in 2004 as HoD – Medicine.  

A Member of Mysore Race Club Ltd., since 1992, he served as Steward and Chairman of the Club from 1.10.2015 to 18.8.2016.

Funeral took place this afternoon at Wilson Garden Crematorium in Bengaluru.
