Former Muzrai Department Officer Jigani Siddappa passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: Jigani Siddappa, a retired Executive Officer of Muzrai Department, passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Friday morning.

He had served as the Executive Officer of Chamundi Hill temple, Nanjangud Srikanteshwara temple and several other prominent temples of the district.

Jigani Siddappa leaves behind family members and a host of relatives and friends. Mahesh Jigani, serving as Jail Superintendent and Somashekar Jigani, District Officer of Backward Classes Welfare Department, are his sons.

Last rites were performed at his native place Jigani (Anekal Taluk) near Bengaluru yesterday evening, according to family sources.
