Mysuru: Former Prime Minister & JD(S) Supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and former CM & JD(S) State President H.D. Kumaraswamy will be felicitated on behalf of Kumbara and Ahinda communities on Dec.14 at JD(S) Headquarters located at Sheshadripuram in Bengaluru, said JD(S) State General Secretary Shivakumar Chowdashetty.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan recently, he said that the event will be held at 11 am and thanked the party High Command for recognising his community and appointing him as the General Secretary of the party. Shivakumar said that he had quit Congress and joined JD(S) as his plea to establish a separate development authority for Kumbara community was neglected by CM Siddharamaiah.

He also added that he would tour the State in the coming days and work for strengthening the party ahead of Assembly Polls scheduled next year.
