Foundation training for women Police Constables begins

Mysore/Mysuru: The Foundation training for the sixth batch of 244 newly recruited women Police Constables began at the Police Training School (PTS) in Jyothinagar here on Monday.

Speaking after inaugurating the programme, IGP (Southern Range) Pravin Madhukar Pawar said that the trainees should make an indepth study of IPC and Cr.PC Sections. Highlighting the importance of the training programme, which involves a lot of physical fitness, he called upon the trainees to serve the Department with honesty, integrity and efficiency.

PTS Principal Dr. Dharani Devi Malagatti, Dy.SP P. Umesh and others were present.
