Four arrested for indulging in cricket betting

Rs.28,910 cash, 13 mobile phones, one tab seized

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Friday, raided a house in Rajivnagar 1st Stage, 1st Cross, where cricket betting was taking place and have arrested four persons besides seizing Rs.28,910 cash and a tab from them.

The arrested are 32-year-old Kaiser Ahmed of Shanthinagar, 31-year-old Syed Tanveer of Rajivnagar, 27-year-old Dilip of K.R. Mohalla and 32-year-old Mohammed Shakeel of Kollegal.

CCB Inspector C. Kiran Kumar and staff Chardregowda, Ramaswamy, M.R. Ganesh. Rajendra, Prakash, Anand and Goutham took part in the raid, nabbing and seizing operation.
