Four-day ‘Kreedotkarsha’ begins

Mysuru: The four-day 16th Inter-Horticulture University Sports Meet ‘Kreedotkarsha – 2025’ jointly organised by University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot and College of Horticulture, Mysuru, began  at University of Mysore Athletic Grounds here yesterday.

The sports meet was inaugurated by DIGP (Southern Range) Dr. M.B. Boralingaiah, University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.K. Lokanath and International Women’s Kho Kho Player B. Chaithra by releasing the balloons and watering a plant.

A total of 630 athletes from 10 Horticulture Universities across the State are taking part in the sports meet which features track and field events including kho kho, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball and athletic events.

University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Department of Physical Education (UoM) Director Dr. C. Venkatesh, Department of Information and Public Relations  Assistant Director A.S. Nirmala and others were present.
