FPAIndia holds Adolescent Education Programmes

Mysuru: Family Planning Association of India-ULBA Hospital and Sri Sanjeevani Suraksha Shikshana Trust, Mysuru, conducted Adolescent Education Programme  at Pushpashrama in Naidu Nagar recently.

The programme was inaugurated by M.D. Chethan, Sanjeevani Suraksha Shikshana Trust. D.S. Shashikumar. Hon. Secretary, FPAIndia, Mysuru Branch, presided. Ashok Kumar, MD, Sanjeevani Trust, was present.

Resource Person Prof. Sathyanarayana, Vice-President of FPAIndia, Mysuru Branch, spoke about importance of education, sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence and empowerment. In all, 23 participants attended the programme.

FPAIndia-ULBA Hospital, in collaboration with RUDSET Institute, Mysuru, also conducted an Adolescent Education Programme for Community Youths at the Institute premises in Hinkal.

N.G. Lakshman Rao, Director of RUDSET, inaugurated. Resource Person Dr. G. Venkateshkumar, Member of FPA India Mysuru Branch, took a session for male youths while another Resource Person Dr. S. S. Malini of FPA India  addressed the ladies.
