Mysuru: HNR Foundation is organising a free health check-up camp simultaneously at eight places in the district for detection of breast and cervix cancer tomorrow (Sept.30).
Disclosing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Wednesday, Foundation President Dr. H.N. Raveendra said that specialist lady doctors would examine the patients who should be women about 30 years.
He further said that former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah would formally inaugurate the camp at Senate Bhavan in Manasagangothri here on Sept.30 at 10 am. He added that Dy.CM Dr. G. Parameshwara, several Ministers and elected representatives would participate.
Doctors of Bharath Cancer Hospital, Suyog Hospital, JSS Medical College, Adichunchanagiri Medical College and other hospitals would examine the patients.
The camp, after formal inauguration, will be held at Humanities auditorium in Manasagangothri, JSS Public School in Siddarthanagar and Government School in Yelwal; Vidyodaya College in T. Narasipur Lions School in Nanjangud, Government Degree Colleges in H.D. Kote, Hunsur and Periyapatna, explained Dr. Raveendra adding that Yeshasvini Health Scheme was a good proposition which should be re-introduced to cover the entire population of the State.
