Mysuru: Entry to watch Kambala will be free. A separate open zone will be created for nearly 5,000 people without passes, where they can stand and watch the races.

The gallery can accommodate 15,000 spectators at a time. To accommodate more visitors, free passes will be issued in three batches each day. Running commentary will be a mix of Kannada and Tulu.

A special area will also be set up near the buffalo enclosures where families and tourists can take selfies and photographs with the animals. Organisers estimate that more than 25 lakh people will witness the sport.

Stalls will be set up on about 4-5 acres of land to showcase coastal folk art and traditional delicacies of Tulu Nadu, giving Mysuru residents a taste of coastal culture.
