Free screening and discount on Mammography at Bharath Cancer Hospital

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, HCG Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology (BHIO), Mysuru, will be offering free screening camp and 50 percent discount on mammography screening test on every Saturday of this month (October) between 10 am and 1 pm.  Dr. Y.S. Madhavi, Senior Radiation Oncologist, HCG BHIO said “Breast cancer is the most common kind of cancer in women. The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram — the screening test for breast cancer — can help find breast cancer early.”

 Those interested can undergo a Mammography on all Saturdays this month (Oct.9, 16, 23 and 30). Camps and awareness programmes are also arranged at Cheluvamba Park on Oct. 15, Kukkarahalli Lake on Oct. 22 and Lingambudhi Lake on Oct. 29. For details contact Mob: 98803-94712 or 99454-33300.
