Free Spoken Sanskrit Workshop begins

Mysore/Mysuru: A 10-day free Spoken Sanskrit Workshop has begun in the Sanskrit Department, Manasagangothri, University of Mysore, from July 3 to 14.

Department Chairperson Prof. Vijayakumari Karikal, while inaugurating the camp, spoke at length about the glorious legacy of Sanskrit. She assured to provide support to take the Department to newer heights.

Chief guest S. Subrahmanya, professionally a Software Engineer working in USA and passionately associated with Samskrita Bharati, which is a voluntary organisation, spoke about the enormous job opportunities for Sanskrit scholars in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, translation and so on.

Guest Faculties of the Department Dr. R. Suresha, Dr. Suresh Hegde, Dr. S.M. Pushpalatha, Mysore Divisional Co-ordinator of Samskrita Bharati Ganesha Datta and the Camp Facilitator Parvata Vardhini were present.
