Freedom Fighter passes away

Mysuru:  Freedom fighter C.N. Ashwath Narayan Shetty (94) passed away in city on Jan. 13.

A resident of T.K. Layout, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

Shetty was jailed during the freedom movement.

His last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
