Frequent overnight power cuts

May 24, 2018

Sir,

The residents of Vishweshwara Nagar, particularly of the buildings near Raja Rajeshwari Temple are being severely inconvenienced by power cuts which last the entire night. This has been the case for the past three nights.

The Junior Engineer has stopped answering his phone and the Chamundipuram office seems the least perturbed. Just after 5 mins of steady rain, the electricity gets switched off and most often takes more than 12 hours to get switched back on. This kind of service is worse than one would expect in villages! Not something expected in a fast growing city like Mysuru.

I request the authorities to please treat this matter as urgent and rectify as soon as possible.
