Fuel prices hiked

Mysore/Mysuru: The oil marketing companies have increased the fuel prices and the petrol and diesel prices have been hiked by 85 paise and 79 paise per litre respectively on Wednesday.

The price of petrol in city now costs Rs. 101.77 (Rs. 100.92 old price), an increase of Rs. 0.85 per litre while diesel now costs Rs. 86.13 (Rs. 85.34 old price) per litre, an increase of Rs. 0.79. 

Cooking gas prices too has been increased. Fuel prices were not increased for the last over four months presumably due to Assembly elections in five States in spite of crude oil prices increasing in the international oil market due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
