Fully automatic mortuary opened at St. Joseph’s Hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A fully automatic mortuary facility was opened at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bannimantap here on Nov. 15.

The facility was blessed and inaugurated by Bishop of Mysuru Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ, in the presence of the Trust Members and Hospital Management.

The new mortuary is equipped with state-of-the-art freezer boxes capable of preserving up to four human bodies at a time ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety and dignity. This upgraded facility is designed to serve the community with efficiency and care during sensitive times, reflecting the hospital’s mission of providing holistic service to humanity.

The hospital also provides well-equipped laboratory facilities with home blood sample collection, advanced physiotherapy care, CT, ultrasound scanning, and 24-hour pharmacy and emergency trauma care services besides providing dialysis at an affordable price.
