G. Channabasappa (91), a retired Assistant Commissioner at the Revenue Department, who also served as the Administrative Officer at JSS Mahavidyapeetha, passed away early this morning in city.

A resident of Kuvempunagar, he leaves behind his wife, two sons, three daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds on Lalithadripura Road here today.
