G20 State-level competitions: Calling First Grade College students

As part of Jan Bhagidari programmes as a prelude to G20, State-level Debate, Essay writing and VachanaVyakhyana competitions have been organised for First Grade College students at JSS Arts, Commerce and Science College, B.N. Road, Mysuru, on June 27 at 10 am.

Any number of students can take part from each college and must register before June 24. There is no registration fee.Participants should carry permission letter from their College Principal and their ID card compulsorily. Certificates will be issued to all the participants.

First three place winners in each competition will be awarded Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively. The topic for Essay: “The Role of Media in the Development of Culture and Literature”; Debate: “Is Modern Technology a Curse or Boon to the Young Generation”; VachanaVyakhyana: Students can select any one Vachana of their choice.
