Gandhi Jayanti: 10 prisoners to be released from Mysuru Central Jail

Mysuru: Following a State government order, City Central Jail Superintendent Ananda Reddy informed here yesterday (Gandhi Jayanti Day) that 10 prisoners, who were convicted for petty crimes, will be released on Oct.5 from Mysuru Central Jail to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

They are Erappa, resident  of Vaddarahalli, Arkalgud taluk of Hassan district, Thimmegowda of Nelamane village, Nagaraj alias Naga of Menasa village, Somwarpet taluk,   H.P. Shivakumar of Nalkeri village, Chandrashekar of Nanjangud town, Chennappa of Halagangur village in Tarikere taluk of Chikkamagalur district, Annappa, Shivalinga of Hootagalli, Mysuru, Raju of Beluru in Hassan district and Devaraj of Chikkarasanapalya in Satyamangala taluk of Erode district in Tamil Nadu.
