Marking the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Centre for Gandhian Studies, University of Mysore, in association with Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, will be organising Gandhi Kavigoshti (Poets Meet) at Gandhi Bhavan, Manasagangothri on Mar. 26. Jananpeeth awardee and Sahitya Academy Chairman Dr. Chandrasekhara Kambara will inaugurate the event. Veteran Writers Prof. C.P. Krishna Kumar and Dr. Siddalingaiah will be the guests of honour. University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Registrar Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi will be present. Noted Writers Kalegowda Nagawara, S.G. Siddharamaiah, Sarvamangala, Savitha Nagabushan, Sarjoo Katkar, K.B. Siddaiah, Janardhan (Janni), N.M. Talwar and others will take part.
