Mysore/Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on Aug. 7, arrested three ganja peddlers, who were attempting to sell the narcotic substance brought from Odisha to peddlers in city.

The three peddlers were waiting on the road next to a petrol bunk on Mahadevapura Road in Udayagiri Police limits, when the CCB Police arrested them and  seized a total of 6.520 kg ganja worth Rs. 2.6 lakh from them.

A case has been registered at Udayagiri Police Station and it is to be known whether the arrested peddlers are from city or from Odisha. Police said that they only know that the three peddlers had brought ganja from Odisha and were waiting to sell the same to a peddler in city. Steps are being taken to arrest the peddler from city. DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and CCB ACP S.N. Sandeshkumar guided CCB Inspector A. Mallesh, Sub-Inspectors Pratibha Jangavada,  Rajukonakeri, ASI R. Raju, staff Purushotham, Ramegowda, H.P. Madhukumar, K. Puttamma, V. Raghu, Arun Kumar, K.J. Srinivas took part in the operation.
