Ganja peddlers held 187 grams ganja, Rs.1,990 cash seized

Mysuru:  Police personnel attached to the Economic Offences and Narcotics Crime Police Station have arrested two persons on charges of peddling Ganja at an empty shop in Mandi Mohalla on June 21 and have seized 187 grams ganja and Rs.1,900 cash from them.

The arrested are 28-year-old Fairoz Khan, a native of Wilson Garden in Bengaluru and residing in Shanthinagar, Mysuru and 56-year-old Rafiq Ahmed of Mandi Mohalla. A case has been registered at Economic Offences and Narcotics Crime Police Station in this regard.

DCP M. Muthuraj and CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa supervised Economic Offences and Narcotics Crime Inspector N.G. Krishnappa, ASI L. Subashchandra and staff V. Anand, T. Prakash, N.M. Nagesh, H.S. Puneeth, Pushpalatha and Rajesh in the nabbing and seizing operation, according to a press release from the PRO, City Police Commissioner’s Office, Mysuru.
