Ganjifa Raghupati Bhat bereaved

Mysuru: Krishnaveni, wife of late Anantarama Bhat, passed away yesterday at her eldest son Harirama Bhat’s residence in Srinagar near J.P. Nagar here. She was 96.

She leaves behind four sons including the National award winning artist Ganjifa Raghupati Bhat and three daughters. Her ancestors were performing puja rituals at Ananthashayana Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Last rites were performed by Sudarshan Bhat at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.
