Garbage burning menace at Ramakrishnanagar

Hazardous smoke emanating from burning of garbage in the drain at Ramakrishnanagar ‘G’ Block, next to Vivekanandanagar Library is causing a lot of problems to the people living in the surrounding. Residents alleged that thick black smoke along with foul smell emanated from burning garbage was causing health issues especially to senior citizens and children besides stating that garbage is being piled up as it is not being cleared regularly and finally set on fire. The residents have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to get the garbage cleared regularly and also prevent garbage from being set on fire.
