Release ceremony of Dual Album — ‘Naivedya,’ a collection of 12 Rabindra songs in Bengali [CD-1 Songs and CD-2 Karaoke – Instrumental Music]: lyrics and music composed by Rabindranath Tagore],  Sarod Maestro Pt. Rajeev Tharanath chairs, Prof. C.N. Srinath chief guest, Pt. Hiremath Veerabhadraiah releases the CDs, H.R. Leelavati on ‘Tagore Songs’ on Chandana TV, S. Sridhar on ‘Kannada Translations of Tagore’s Dance Dramas,’ Kripa Phadke on ‘Raindra Dance Dramas in Mysuru,’ Geetha Lakshmi, Aloka Datta, Vijay Pranavam and Somnath Datta: Songs from Tagore’s dance-dramas in original Bengali and in Kannada translations, S. Ravi Shankar comperes, Dhvanyaloka, Bogadi Road, 5 pm.
