Mysuru: The 17th edition of the popular musical evening Geeth Gaatha Chal, presented by doctors and their families, will be held on Feb.18 at Kalamandira on Hunsur Road.

Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, Industrialist and Philanthropist along with his wife  Kusuma Shenoy are hosting the show year after year and treating Mysureans with music of films from yesteryears both Hindi and Kannada.

From last year, the mantle of organising the event has been given to Dr. P. A. Kushalappa, who took over from Dr. C. Umesh Kamath, who successfully brought the show to its magical best over the past 15 years.

Noted Sugama Sangeetha artiste H.R. Leelavathi will be the chief guest.

The programme focuses on discovering new talent. Patrons are requested to be seated in the auditorium by 4.30 pm on 18th. Entry is free.
