Generator thieves arrested

Three generators worth Rs. 3.66 lakh recovered, one Innova vehicle seized

Mysore/Mysuru: Narasimharaja (NR) Police, on Aug. 13, have arrested two persons on charges of stealing generators and have also arrested a person who was purchasing the stolen goods from them.

The Cops have recovered three Honda company generators besides seizing a Toyota Innova car used for the crime.

During interrogation the accused are said to have confessed of stealing the generators in NR (Mysuru), Metagalli (Mysuru) and Malavalli Town (Mandya) Police limits and following their arrest, the Police have solved one case each in NR, Metagalli and Malavalli Police Stations.

DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna and NR Sub-Division ACP Shivashankar supervised NR Inspector Azaruddin, Sub-Inspectors Jaikeerthi and Gangadhar, ASI Ravi and staff Manjunath, Mahesh, Sunil Kumar, Doddegowda, Eeresh and Basavaraju in the nabbing operation.
