Girl cheated of Rs. 61,480

Mysore/Mysuru: A conman has cheated a girl on the pretext of getting her a physiotherapist job at a reputed hospital.

The girl, who has been cheated is 23-year-old M. Meghana, a resident of Ramachandra Agrahara in city.

Meghana received an e-mail, which stated that there was vacancy for a physiotherapist’s post at a reputed hospital in city. She then responded to the e-mail and she was told to pay Rs. 61,480 as various fee, following which she transferred the money online.

Later, she did not receive any information pertaining to the job. Realising that she has been cheated, Meghana has lodged a complaint at city’s CEN Police Station.
