A case has been registered against eight persons and a Department enquiry has been ordered against the Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Hullahalli Police Station, for negligence when the girl had come to the Police Station to lodge a complaint.

The girl, belonging to a village in the taluk is learnt to have been in love with a youth of the same village and both had physical relationship. The youth, on learning that the girl had gone to the Police Station to lodge a complaint against him, went to the girl’s house along with others and had created ruckus in front of the house.
