Girl student injured as autorickshaw topples after hitting bike

Mysore/Mysuru: A girl student sustained fracture of the shoulder bone when the autorickshaw she was travelling hit the bike which was moving ahead and toppled on the road. The incident took place on Nov. 19 at about 7.30 am in N.R. Mohalla.

The girl student, a resident of Rajendranagar, who was pursuing her first year engineering course was on her way to the college in the auto, when the auto driver, who was said to be driving in a rash and negligent manner hit the bike which was moving ahead of the auto in N.R. Mohalla resulting in the auto driver losing control of the auto which toppled.

The girl, who sustained serious injuries, was admitted to a private hospital, where the doctors who examined her found that she had sustained a fracture to her shoulder bone and performed a surgery.

Based on the complaint from the girl’s father, N.R. Traffic Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
