Mysuru: The students of Gita Bharati School of Excellence, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru, brought laurels to the school by securing first prize in the Documentary Competition held as part of ‘Spardha,’ an Inter-High School Competition organised by the Interact Club of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala, Mysuru, recently.

G. Hemesh of Grade IX and R. Mahalakshmi of Grade X represented the school and won the first place for their documentary on the historic Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Ramanuja Road, Mysuru. The documentary highlighted the temple’s historical, cultural and architectural significance through creative presentation, narration and visual storytelling.

The winning students were awarded a cash prize and certificates for their outstanding performance.
